A Model 686 and 586 with a half lug barrel is also on my wish list,
Incidentally while the MG has a tapered barrel with a narrow rib the Model 19/66 has the wide rib heavy barrel profile like the Model 29/629.

A while back a fellow member (sorry lost his ID) posted this picture showing his 686 with a 586 that has had the full underlug cut back to a half lug and refinished...Made quite an impression as it has the strength of the L frame with the looks of the K Magnum.
