I recall that string too, and that is a much better looking revolver than the factory 586/686. I really dislike the full lug barrels; they are ugly and really trash the balance as far as I am concerned. From a practical analysis, I can't justify my 686MG. It really does not do anything for me that my 66 doesn't, and most of my other revolvers are 4" N frames that can use the same leather.
