If it was mine to shoot I would stick to 40 grain and standard velocity. My tests of velocity on CCI-SV show a considerable spread, which is not unexpected given its price. This is will show up as elevation spread at longer distances.
Of course, spreads of cheaper stuff are much worse, CCI-SV is a great value.
When shooting at 10 yards (my garage range) I can’t isolate the elevation variable from my poor performance so CCI-SV is fine.
If you shoot at longer ranges (25-50 yards) premium ammunition such as Eley or Lapua will probably shoot smaller groups, at least it does in mine. Eley Club has been a good compromise for me.
