How about a S&W 642?
No worry about hand strength to rack the slide.
No worry about clearing a jam.
And best of all, with a loose jacket it can be in hand while still in the pocket and pushed forward and fired while still in pocket.
Might come handy if she was walking and didn't want anyone to see a gun in her hand.
