I have a Shield 9 that I would get rid of if I hadn't already purchased 3 holsters for it. The main thing I dislike about it is the trigger. The pull of this trigger is hard and inconsistant. It is now back at Smith for the second time because of this. I also do not like the cheap recoil spring assembly that is a pain to get in the correct position when reassembling the gun after cleaning. I would recommend you look for something else for a carry gun.
