My shield 9MM alternates with a 40C as my carry gun. Neither one has ever had an issue in 1000 rounds, although I did replace the RSA in the Shield because the spring looked like it had been smashed with a hammer. A single call to CS had a new RSA mailed out although it did take a month to process.
