OK! Took my replacement Shield 9 out yesterday and fired fifty rounds. (Had five hundred with me) Accuracey? Tore out a three inch hole in the center at 25 yds. Extraction perfect! Ejection? If I'd had a bucket and was standing perfectly in same place after reloading the mags__all the fired casings would be in that bucket.
Problem__troublesome recoil spring assembly. Had noticed it when cleaning and lubing the piece. S&W is mailing a new spring assembly. I was having serious doubts about the Shield. No more
doubts.
