My set up is identical. I have had 3 different shields... The first had the stock trigger and yes, you pull it down and left. Second I got an APEX ADEK trigger - 2.5lbs... way too light for a carry gun. Third is my EDC now. APEX trigger, about a 4.5# pull and TFO sights for my old eyes... and I shoot it lights out!
