I bought it for myself as the wife had a glock 19. she was having some limp wrist problems with the glock so I tried to get her to use the shield. After getting familiar with it the glock went in the safe to never see daylight again. the only issue we have had was the white dot on the front sight fell off I used fingernail polish and got her a veridian green laser. carries it on a custom holster I built for her and in her purse. she is a lefty and it functions without a hiccup over 2000 rounds down the pipe
