Had my Shield 40 two years now. XS Big dot sight, Pearce mag extensions on the larger mags, and its my everyday carry. After two years and probably 3000-3500 rounds, still stiff. Not an issue for me, but my wife still struggles to rack it. With a Foxx IWB holster, it just disappears. I shoot the FS 40 with pretty good accuracy. The Pearce extensions allowed me to control the Shield just about as well. It will never become my wife's gun until she gets a stronger grip or it loosens up.
