So a year has gone by and I ended up putting in an Apex trigger in march of 2014. Mind you when I bought this pistol I was a brand new shooter. After 9 months of range time and some classes I was doing just fine with the new trigger ... but due to a feeling of a lighter reset.. and my curiosity, I switched back to my stock trigger. Funny thing is my marksmanship and muscle memory has been set in and I shoot the same as I did with the Apex trigger. I did notice that the reset was WORSE with the Apex trigger than the factory trigger (no spring upgrades or sear upgrades.)

So after the original trigger was replaced, I ended up using FrogLube on the trigger bar where the bar meets the striker block as well as on the striker block and the grittiness went completely away. Smooth as butter.

I guess after a year of classes and training it doesn't matter what you put in your gun. Good learning experience. My gun is back to stock.
