This is exactly the kind of feedback that I wanted when I started the thread.
For those who might come along to this post, I would offer a couple of caveats:
One, I really am trying to like my Smiths. I just got my authentication letter back on an early 5 screw hand eject model.
Second, I got a "real steal" when I bought this little J Frame.
Third, it shoots way low with the HiVez factory sights and I am going to have to burn through hundred's of rounds of target ammo to learn to shoot it.
Fourth, the trigger, compared to the Ruger LCR, is simply atrocious.
But on the other hand:
One, after all it is a Smith.
Two, as cheaply as I bought it the price will only go up.
Three, it is a very good investment
Four, it is a novelty. How many can say they have a Smith, J
Frame, 357, that weighs only 12 oz?
Five, everyone needs one J Frame in the stable.
Six, it is a great carry piece.
Seven, I just know I will be sick if I sell it or trade it.
Go figure!! Decisions!! Decisions!!
Just thinking out loud I suppose??
