I think four figures is a little bit high for one with a 6" barrel. I'm not sure even the 2 1/2" will command quite that much right now. At least around here, $700 would be about the top of the market for what you described.

Still a nice acquisition. The 19-3 is an excellent piece. Here's a photo of two of mine:
