The only Rossi I've ever owned was a a Model 87 clone of the Model 60. Fit and finish weren't to Smith standards but weren't at all bad, Trigger was smooth, especially after I had a smith polish the innards a little (also had him bob the hammer). Pretty damn nice little gun for what I paid around seventeen years ago--just under $200 new. Had no complaints at all but when I could afford to I bought a 640. I can't speak to Rossi QC now, but mine was good value for the buck.
