My K-22 Outdoorsman, s/n 6745xx. Probably from early 1939.

It has a Call silver disk and a humpback hammer. Grips are serial numbered to the gun.

At one time I collected K-22s. This was the oldest one in the collection. All of my postwar guns, from
the late 40's and 50's, are gone, though they were mostly shooter grade (several were police training
guns and had a lot of use, but were in good mechanical condition). At present the only other
K-frame .22 I have is a Model 18, my first Christmas present from my wife. Since the Outdoorsman
was the premium gun in this collection, I kept it, and it also makes a nice companion piece for my
Registered Magnum.

I shoot this gun once in a while, but have never taken it hunting. The grips are too small for me. I'd
like to swap some Magnas on it for shooting purposes.
