Question Question About Smith Model 360PD Scandium/Titanium Question

Hello all:

I have a Model 360PD Scandium/Titanium 357 snubby. I ran across it and bought it for a song.

My problem is, the trigger in single action is about to kill me. I can hardly hold it on target and hit anything at 21 feet. It is so very, very stiff.

In addition to that, I bought a 357 Ruger LCR that has a butter smooth trigger. If I had bought the Smith first no doubt I would not have the problem I have. I know I am comparing apples to oranges or such, but is there any way of making the little Smith better? I am not ranking on Smith just wanting to have a pleasurable experience from it.

Will a spring kit be worth a try? Which brands do you recommend?

Then you have that old argument that if you ever use the thing for SD the persecutor can make you out to be a John Wayne trigger happy guy. I am in a pickle as to what to do.

Another issue, will this upgrade or customization make the little J worth any less?

My thoughts.

Yours?
