I buy my guns by feel. Pick it up and close your eyes. How does it feel in your hand? Does it feel like an extension of your hand/arm? Can you reach all the controls? Does it balance well? Is it comfortable to hold? Then take a shooting stance and point the gun as though you are going to shoot at your target. Now open your eyes. Is it pointing where you thought it should by how it felt? If so, you've got a candidate. Then I go down the list of reliability, parts availability, affordability, etc. But they've got to feel good first!
