Good choices on each of those! My 1911, well 2 of them, are Smith E Series. Not a problem with either ever. Also have the 625 and it is a GREAT shooter! You are going to really enjoy that one!

Moon clip tool? BMT is the way to go. Expensive, but well worth it.
