You probably mean .380? I think you would absolutely notice a .38 Special, as it would never fit into a magazine designed for 9mm.
I would not repeat the mistake with the rest of the box, if that's what you mean. As far as being worried, what's done is done. You didn't lose an eye or a finger or anything.
