Today I participated in force on force training. We went through 10 different scenarios - inside the home and out, daytime and night. The instructor (a LEO training instructor) changes up the scenarios, so this is something that it's good (IMHO) to do more than once.
I've always felt that if I pick up even ONE NEW THING it makes the class worthwhile. One of todays scenarios was designed to show the importance of keeping a flashlight at the bedside...this I already knew. But the new piece of info was that
shining the light at the ceiling (rather than straight ahead) will illuminate the whole room or hallway!
Afterward, I went to the range for an hours work with my EDC (Shield 9mm).
All in all, a great day!!!
