That's uncalled for. Just because a guy works at a particular store doesn't make him an idiot. In this case he was wrong, but that's no reason to bash everyone at that store.

I'll put this in the form of a question, do you know how your gun works? How the thumb safety works? Why is a gun safer with the thumb safety on?
IS a gun safer with the safety on?
In my class, I always ask this question, "Does the thumb safety make your gun safe?" No one has ever got that question wrong. Everyone has answered, no. They are correct to say that.
In the M&P, the thumb safety only blocks trigger movement. If the gun is in a proper holster, one that covers the trigger, isn't the trigger protected from movement? So, how does having a thumb safety make an M&P more safe?
