I have some information for you. I have 23 guns in my data base for the 44 Transition targets. I have two with the S 712 first 3 numbers they are S-71268 and S-71263 thes two guns were in a 10 gun shipment to Marshalls Co. Lima OH. If your gun is close to these two numbers I would say that your gun shipped in this order. The company that your dad got the gun from may have ordered it from this supplier.
When you get your letter in 20 Weeks that the wait time now. Send me the information from your Factory letter and I will up date my data base and send you a copy for your records so you can see how many are documented.
