I have the small dot on my Deltapoint but agree with Bkreutz for SD type shooting the large dot is faster to get on target with. I shoot a lot of bullseye type targets and bench rest with mine so the smaller the better. If you can crank up the brightness that helps for fast close in stuff. i go the other way on my Ultradot and turn it dowh to min and select the smallest dot. Don
