He's talking about non- retirees vets.
The BX is burdened by some heavy duty rules on what it can sell for how much. It's presently not competitive with Walmart and the other big box stores.
The commissary is still competitive, but also under budgetary pressure.
We have an old GI saying, it's a 'BeNo.'
There will be no more good deals.
I appreciate the numerous good deals that I have received. The younger troops deserve theirs too.
