I had the SF in 870/ 12 gauge and the SF 1100 /20 gauge. I used
the 870 very little. The SF 1100/20g with slug barrel felt like a
rifle. Was fastest handling slug gun I had. Traded both of last fall
when Ohio got rifle season. I still have the 21" FC barrel on a
1100 Lt. The main difference between 870 SF and 1100 SF, is that the 870SF will only interchange SF barrels, the 1100SF will
accept any 1100 barrel. This doesn't include the barrels for the
20s on 12 frame.
