At 18 I bought my first gun as an adult. It was a S&W 66-2. In Texas, we did not have CHL yet, so it rode around with me in the truck (mostly legal in some places). Fast forward a few years...I began to carry a 640-1 and a Sig P series full/mid size (legally of course). If I just had one gun, it was likely a J frame, or maybe a N frame out hunting with a long gun.
Am I old? not by my standards...I have a few gray hairs now, but don't mistake age for disability.....an old guy will kill you faster than a young one
