I recently purchased a S&W model 64-6 police buyback revolver. My two questions about these markings are: (1) Do the letters CFAxxxx possibly tell where this particular revolver was sold? (2) The numbers 328 appear of the inside of the yoke when the cylinder is opened. Numbers generally do not appear here on commercially sold guns. What do they possibly mean?
