The Colt is excellent as far as packaging goes, 6 rounds in a size scarcely larger than a J-frame, though I do think it might be just a shade too big for pants pocket carry. But since I rarely carry that way, it's not an issue for me. I do think that a lightweight like a Cobra or an Agent would be just about perfect as a carry gun. I found a nice Cobra for a decent price because it had holes drilled and tapped for the hammer shroud, but it was missing the shroud. It was otherwise in very fine condition. However, the deal breaker for me is that Crimson Trace does not make a laser grip for the old D-frames, and it's doubtful that they ever will. The worse my eyesight gets, the more I "see" the benefits of laser grips in a self-defense gun.
