Wow, Picky picky!
Both guns are just about the same size. Many J frame holsters hold the DS with no problem. Have carried both a Model 60 and DS, both 2'' tubes!
Sure the DS weights a bit more because of the 6th round but size to me is a moot point comparing those two guns. I just picked up a Cobra (basically a lighter weight DS) and am seriously thinking about making that a carry gun. Am now carrying a .380 bodyguard,
