It's not the sight but the mount and the consistency in reinstalling the mount that makes the difference. A picatinnny rail helps some with that but the rings or mount have to be put back on exactly how you took it off. That is why there are numbers on a rail in a lot of instances. Also, mounting it so the screws or pins are placed to the front of the slots or to the rear makes a difference as well. It is often recommended to make sure the screws/pins are pushed against the front of the slots to make sure the mount is the same every time and prevent the possibility of the optic from shifting due to recoil.
