Thanks for the reply. Yes, it is a ANE prefix. Any chance of someone looking up the date of manufacture. It sure Does- Have the pinned barrel. I'm just not sure it was in 1987 I bought it. I will call S&W to see what they say. Any other info is much appreciated. Gonna try and get a photo or it up today. Thanks...Bob
