I, too, am collecting old Model 39/39-2 magazines when I am able to find them at an acceptable price. Sometimes I do okay... other times it's price insanity!
One small dealer had one so old and RUSTY that I almost thought he would give it to me just to get it out of his shop.
Seriously, I could barely tell what it was under all the rust.

He wanted $65.00 plus tax for that ugly piece of rusting steel.
Needless to say, I walked.
