This worked for me for about 1200 rounds. Then I had a couple range sessions where I had to tighten the takedown screw 3 or 4 times. Started using
Vibra-Tite VC-3 and the problem went away. So, multiple simple solutions to this problem ... but S&W needs to rethink their solution of locking down the screw so tight that nobody can remove it.
