My favorite defense firearm to shoot is my M&P 9c with Apex duty/carry trigger. It feels perfectly balanced in my hands and I really like the trigger. It is my HD option but doesn't get carried often because it's heavier than I like.

For EDC I have come to really, really like my LCR 357 and Glock 42. Both are lightweight and comfortable to shoot. The LCR gets IWB duty when wearing long pants and pocket duty with pants/shorts with larger pockets. The G42 gets the nod for pocket carry on shorts with smaller pockets.

The LCR 357 is so versatile. It usually is carried with 38 +p rounds but Golden Sabre 357s are a great option too. I carry it loaded with shotshell in a pocket holster when at my hunting property. Love it.
