Good work Larry! The easy way to make a sheath is to glue the layers of leather together then take it to a shoe repair shop. The cobbler can stitch the outside edge on his big sewing machine in a few minutes. I have used flat pieces of leather for the back and front with spacers to hold them apart at the edges. The main spacer is first cut the same as the front piece then most of its center removed. making the back piece too tall then folding it over on itself makes a good belt loop. Snaps are available in camping supplies. I like a retaining strap with one end sewn in with the spacers. Its loose end folds down over the guard. Obviously you have to rivet the snap onto the front piece before the assembly is glued together. You can buy a sheath inexpensively from Smoky Mountain Knife Works but a home made sheath goes with a project knife.
