Ninety percent of the time, a trip to the range is actually a match. En route, the rifle is cased and separated from the ammo.

At the range, I break out my 2 Gunner jogger, and I place my rifle in the rack. Folding chair, camera tripod and shooting mat go on a shelf of the jogger. Ammo (and the rest when I am shooting F Open), goes on the lower shelf. My score book, binoculars, and other stuff goes into my backpack. Being disabled, I have to be resourceful.

When I am shooting handguns, if it is a bullseye match, pistols go in the pistol box, ammo in an ammo can. If a PPC match, I have a PPC box, pistol gets holstered at the car. If it is just a general practice session, boxed pistols, a tote with range necessities, and ammo in a can.
