Back in the early 90's I bought an EMF Hartford in .45 Colt. I also had an early Colt SAA with 5 1/2" bbl, but as I was working on a collection of early Winchesters at the time, I ended up trading them both off for something else before ever shooting either one. I have always regretted getting rid of them, but the same goes for every other one I've ever had.
I put a nice pair of stags on the EMF. Overall, it's quality/fit/finish seemed pretty darned good, especially for the money. Never got a picture of the Colt.
