I wouldn't consider your ammo as being "old". Your Ruger will handle that ammo just fine.

I've shot British WWII 9mm ammo made in 1943 (very carefully watching for squib rounds) and all fired fine and cycled my G19.

Have fun with the Federal 125 grainers! Big BOOMs and big fireballs! Fun!
