My 29-2 from 12/23/1976 is the same as the above case, except that mine came with the correct brush attached to the rod. under the blue on mine is black plastic. I got super lucky,
mine also still had the two yellow plastic tabs and when I pulled them both up all the original paperwork from S&W was there. I'd rather be lucky then handsome!! you have a nice piece there, Enjoy it.
