Default gman51 - I like it.

I bought my Taurus 82 on 3-10-16 at our Academy Sports here in town. I have access to a lot farm, field, and woodlands of friends and relatives just a few miles down in Mississippi. I have put several hundred rounds through it since I bought it. The single action feels almost as good as my 357 Blackhawk. Double action pull is acceptable, a little stiff take up, but either it is smoothing up or I'm getting more used to it. My eyesight is not what it used to be, but I can put 6 shots of .38 +P REM. UMC 125 gr. JHP at 7--10 yards into a 10" paper plate (AKA MOPP) double action and sometimes cover them with my hand. I like it. I never expect stuff to always be perfect. I like to think it is better to be able to adapt to the situation at hand. I really like this gun. I been carrying it every day for a few months in a Hunter 1100-30 holster on my right hip where it belongs. Open carry is legal now in every state I've ever been in down here. Have no reason to ever leave FREE AMERICA. Hope I can make it another 65 years. It's real nice having a good woman and no pressure. In finishing my review??, the Taurus 82 does not weigh 16 oz, but it feels solid and recoil is no problem.
