My wife is the same as Rastoffs, she can shoot and does go with me often but it is just not her thing. Once while shooting I took my bedside gun, a Ruger SP101, short barrel .357mag to the range, she wanted to try it, she decided that was the one she wanted for her side of the bed. Not wanting to lose it, I went and bought her a new one just like it. Everybody's happy.
