"In a previous thread about shooting old ammo some member told about shooting his armor piercing 30/06 ammo at paper. Wow I do not believe he knows this stuff will never be available again to the public."


Back in the 1960s-70s it was available in quantity and very cheap, and many service rifle competitors did use it for shooting paper. I once had a foot locker full to the top with it, still have several 20 round boxes.
