If the new Cobra has half the quality of the K6S I'll buy one just to have it. The Kimber is expensive but the money is well spent on a truly precision instrument, you have to actually have one in hand to appreciate just how well designed and built it is.
One thing I love about a properly timed S&W revolver is that you can stage the double action trigger making for very accurate shot placement. Some Rugers DA revolvers like the LCR also have this staging ability. That said the K6S has the hands down best factory trigger I've ever felt in my lifetime. For anyone thinking about the Kimber I highly recommend you check one out. I promise you'll be impressed.
What would make the K6S even better would be to chamber it in 327 Magnum to go along with my S&W 632 and Ruger LCR, SP101 and Single Seven in that caliber.
Nice to hear a review by someone who has actually held one, then a bash by someone who has not.Personally I am patiently waiting for the rumored large frame revolvers which will hopefully include .44 Magnums.
