I paid about $1000 for a 6", with box, set of inserts and paperwork, no 22lr cylinder about 2 years ago. I would expect what you are describing to go north of $1600 in the DFW area.
Prices are region dependent so maybe a couple of other Calif guys have a better idea on your area.
