well while I am not a great fan of RG. revolvers, my father in law has a 4" 38spl that is a fairly solid old gun he has owned since the early 1960s when he was a reserve mounted deputy in Columbus Ms.
I think he joined just to get to ride his horse in a uniform, with his friends.
the old gun gets shot every now and then, when my youngest son gets tasked with cleaning his granddads guns, most of which I have given him over the last 44 years
for a stick in the drawer gun that might have seen 18 rds. in that 44 year time frame it has sufficed!
