I have a sport 2 that shoots 5.56. My buddy is giving me his cmmg conversion kit so i can shoot .22lr. As I understand it, thats just a BCG and magazine(s).

What is the downside (from the gun) to making my 5.56 a "permanent" .22lr this way? Would I need to change anything else?
