So this would be a "range" gun in that I will use it simply when I want to shoot but don't want to spend a ton on ammo. I will be building another AR and using the M&P 15 BCG.

I don't mind spending a LITTLE money to make the .22 better... switch out the barrel seems like a good call. ANything else?
