The "holes" in the dust cover reveal the Serial Number which is now stamped on the metal rail which is integral to the fire-control mechanism. Perhaps the polymer frame can be replaced, ala Sig P320.
I played with one at Field & Stream this week. Nice stippling, a lot like the .45 Shield. Trigger feels similar to the "Performance Center" one....much improved over the prior one.
