My Airweight 638 is very uncomfortable with plain 38 specials, but my recently acquired 640 Pro is a pure joy with the same rounds. All steel makes a huge difference. I've just about decided my 640 is my favorite gun. And that is after only a month or so of ownership and two range trips. I've got three holsters on order to make it my primary carry gun instead of my M&P Shield 40. I think I darn near daydream about shooting that little sucker. Yes, a pure pleasure.
