A few things to consider regarding snub nose J-frames... They may be as accurate as much larger guns but are far more difficult for most people to shoot well. The small frame and light weight are quite unforgiving for the casual shooter whose skills may be deficient. Multiply the difficulty if using an airweight model and/or shooting +P ammo.

That's why many call these guns inaccurate and shoot them only at very close distances like five or ten yards. With sufficient practice and attention to technique, J-frames shoot surprisingly well at twenty-five yards.
